InterEuropa Ballet Cyprus was founded with the vision of creating an international platform where young dancers from Cyprus, Europe and beyond can come together to perform, learn, connect and celebrate the art of dance.
Following the success of its inaugural edition, the competition returns for its 2nd edition, 11 - 14 Feb 2027 in Pafos, Cyprus, welcoming emerging talent in Classical Ballet, Neoclassical, Contemporary and Modern Dance, as soloists and groups.
More than a competition, InterEuropa Ballet Cyprus aims to create meaningful opportunities for young dancers. Winners of the first edition received scholarships, international training opportunities, masterclasses, internships and pathways into professional dance environments. The event also created new connections and professional opportunities for teachers and choreographers, including choreographic collaborations and contracts.
Bringing together dancers, academies, teachers, choreographers, artistic directors and an international jury, InterEuropa Ballet Cyprus is founded on excellence, inclusivity and artistic exchange — creating a bridge between young talent, advanced training and the professional dance world.
Choreographer and ballet master, Michael Kropf, is the current director of InterEuropa Ballet. With an impressive career as a choreographer, he has created over 100 works for ballet, opera, musical, and operetta, including successful productions on renowned stages worldwide.
Béla Földi is a renowned choreographer and artistic director with a passion for pushing the boundaries of classical ballet worldwide.
Minea Kropf is a talented dancer and choreographer specializing in neoclassical and contemporary ballet with fresh perspectives.
Gala Jovanović is an Austrian-Serbian ballet artist with nearly two decades of professional experience with the Vienna State Ballet, where she has performed since 2007 and joined the Vienna State Opera company in 2012.
Rainer Krenstetter was born into a dance family in Vienna where he began his ballet training at the Ballet School of the Vienna State Opera.
Florient Cador is a French dancer, choreographer and ballet teacher whose diverse training spans jazz, tango, contemporary dance and classical ballet.
Lina Constantinidou is the Founder and Director of the School of Fine Arts in Pafos, Cyprus, and the Founder and Director of InterEuropa Ballet Cyprus, an international ballet and dance competition bringing together young dancers, educators, and distinguished professionals from across Europe and beyond.
An honors graduate of Queens College, City University of New York, she studied Music and Dance on a scholarship and continued her professional training at Steps on Broadway and Broadway Dance Center in Manhattan. She has performed at the Golden Center and Goldstein Theater in New York in works by Susan Mathews, YinMay Critchel, and other choreographers.
Lina holds a Teaching Certificate from the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and has further developed her pedagogical expertise through advanced teaching programs at The Royal Ballet School in London and the Paris Opera Ballet School.
A founding member and former President of Dance Culture Pafos, she has played an active role in the development and promotion of dance and cultural initiatives in Pafos for many years. Her recent work includes the creation and artistic direction of InterEuropa Ballet Cyprus and its international Gala, “Shining Together – The Stars of Today & Tomorrow,” bringing established international artists and emerging young dancers together on the same stage.
She is also involved in major cultural initiatives in collaboration with the Municipality of Pafos, contributing to the development and presentation of dance and performing arts projects within the city’s cultural programme. Through her work as an educator, artistic director, and cultural organiser, Lina continues to create opportunities that connect young dancers with the wider European and international dance community.
